![]() Want sources? Check out my Youtube or my website - I am a professional. Then use just water or water and an acid rinse (check the pro's choice site for that too) in your Bissel. You can use a deck broom to agitate it as well. The pads are great for cleaning spots left from red wine, food, fruit juice, coffee, tea, pet messes, blood, mud, dirt and more. Pre-spray the carpet with that, let it dwell 15 minutes or so. BISSELL’s Stomp ‘N Go pads use a powerful oxy-based formula to lift and remove most spots and stains within 30-minutes. ![]() If you want to clean your carpet with the bissel, I recommend using the detergent (the Bissel stuff is ok) like this - mix it up in a cheap 1 gallon pump up sprayer. Go over it dry, over and over, until you can't get any more water out at all, then drop a fan on it. ![]() And use heat- don't believe that stain-setting bull either. Once it dwells for no less than 1 hour, rinse with water only on the Bissel. This stuff will continue to work for 14 days! I like to treat spots and then just come back the next day or so on vacant properties. Then let it dwell - the longer the better. If it's dry, use the Odorzyme, full strength, to saturate the spot - a good rule of thumb is to use about as much odorzyme as there was urine. Then rinse with your Bissel and water only - don't use any detergent in your bissel, it's just going to leave residue that will make your carpet soil faster and look worse over time. If you catch the spot fresh, use a white towel over the spot and step on it to extract most of the urine. Order you a good enzyme pet treatment, don't waste your money on the Nature's Miracle bullshit. Nobody that has answered is a carpet cleaner, and so most of the answers are either only partially right, or completely wrong. OK so first off, a lot of bad or ill-informed responses here.
